Post-surgical Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasonic Therapy is a powerful tool to aid in the healing process after surgery. Ultrasound waves are especially effective in helping the lymphatic system to flow after facial surgery and liposuction surgery. This has the effect of reducing swelling and stiffness. Ultrasound therapy has also shown great promise in treating early stages of capsular contracture in breast augmentation patients. All surgical patients of Dr Gray receive an ultrasound treatment a few days after their surgery to aid in their healing process. This is a value added dimension of the surgery package offered by Dr Gray’s medical practice. Patients wishing to receive additional ultrasound treatments may do so at a nominal charge.

Post-surgical Camouflage Make-up

Any minor skin discoloration after surgery is easily hidden by the spa’s chemical-free make-up. The Bay Area Medical Spa uses only pure, mineral based cosmetics that are allergy free and safe for sensitive skin. In addition the mineral based make-up does not clog pores or dehydrate skin. It also carries UVA and UVB protection at SPF 15.

Clinical Facial

Skin is gently cleansed and exfoliated. Following a relaxing steam, extractions are performed to cleanse the pores and remove impurities. A customized therapeutic mask is applied for calming the skin prior to rehydrating the skin with Hyaluronic acid gel. The absorption of the gel is enhanced by ultrasound. All clinical facials are followed with SPF 30 and mineral makeup.

Deep Cleansing Facial

This facial follows the same steps as the clinical facial, however, an extended period of time is allotted for extractions.

Ultrasound Infusion

This is a relaxing 20 minute treatment that can be added to any facial. This will enhance your facial with antioxidants (vitamin C) and Collagen stimulators such as Epidermal growth factor.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion utilizes crystals to gently and safely resurface the superficial layers of the skin. This is an excellent treatment for reducing the appearance of scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage or for anyone who wants to achieve an overall fresh, healthy-looking glow.

Endermologie
