Post-surgical Ultrasound Therapy
Ultrasonic Therapy is a powerful tool to aid in the
healing process after surgery. Ultrasound waves are
especially effective in helping the lymphatic system to
flow after facial surgery and liposuction surgery. This
has the effect of reducing swelling and stiffness.
Ultrasound therapy has also shown great promise in
treating early stages of capsular contracture in breast
augmentation patients. All surgical patients of Dr Gray
receive an ultrasound treatment a few days after their
surgery to aid in their healing process. This is a value
added dimension of the surgery package offered by Dr
Gray's medical practice. Patients wishing to receive
additional ultrasound treatments may do so at a nominal
charge.
